Preparing to raise a meteorological In order to assess the wind resource at a potential wind farm site, data must be gathered for at least one year to determine, how fast, how often and in what direction the wind blows. To do this a meteorological tower, fitted with instruments to measure wind speed and direction, must be erected on site. We identify the best location for a meteorological tower, supply and install it. Typically a total of six people are required for this job. MKI will provide a team of two to three qualified people to oversee locally hired workers to raise a tower. Our offerings include:
